The Philosophical-Theological College Brixen offers the degree courses:
Catholic Theology
The study program of Catholic Theology lasts ten semesters and concludes with the academic degree of Baccalaurate of Theology (Sacrae Theologiae Baccalaureus) of pontifical right.
Candidates for the priesthood are required to attend the additional pastoral year.
Catholic Religious Education
The study program in Religious Sciences with orientation Catholic Religious Education entails ten semesters and concludes with the academic degree of Baccalaurate of Theology (Sacrae Theologiae Baccalaureus) of pontifical right.
Catholic Religious Education in Italian language
The Degree Course in Catholic Religious Education in Italian will be run in collaboration with the ISSR "Romano Guardini" in Trento from the 2024/25 academic year. Students will enrol at the PTH Bressanone/Brixen and complete most of the courses of the first stage of the program at the ISSR in Trento. They will be awarded the Baccalaureato in Scienze Religiose and the Licenza in Sicenze religiose.
Philosophy
The study of Philosophy is an educational offer in collaboration with the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck.
The courses take place in periodical cycles and are concluded with the academic degree of Bachelor in Philosophy – in Italy recognized as Laurea (L-5).
