Specialist Course Ars Sacra
Basic Course I
Painting, sculpture, and music have always reminded humankind that the Divine transcends the ordinary. For this reason, art has been and continues to be the most important means of conveying biblical stories and truths of faith.
The Ars Sacra course aims to highlight the profound connections between theology and the various artistic disciplines, to illustrate how art has transmitted and still communicates the Christian message, and to help participants discover the richness and value of the Church’s cultural heritage.
The initiative is open to all interested individuals, particularly parish guides, priests and religion teachers, parish leaders, artists, professionals in the art sector, museum staff, and tour guides.
The meetings will take place on Friday afternoons (from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
The program will be offered in a bilingual format; materials will be available in the other language.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.
