Im September 2025 hat Professor Ludger Jansen an der Fachkonferenz Proceedings of the Joint Ontology Workshops (JOWO) - Episode XI: The Sicilian Summer under the Etna, co-located with the 15th International Conference on Formal Ontology in Information Systems (FOIS 2025) in Sizilien teilgenommen. Einer seiner Tagungsbeiträge ist jetzt mit dem „Best of JOWO 2025“ ausgezeichnet worden. Professor Jansen hatte den Beitrag gemeinsam mit Dr. Fumiaki Toyoshima vom Swiss Centre of Ontological Research (SCOR) an der Universität Neuchatel geschrieben. Anlass für die Auszeichnung ist die Veröffentlichung der Workshop-Beiträge. Der preisgekrönte Beitrag hatte die besten Gutachterbewertungen.
